ECOPLAST FIBER Implements a Modern Recycling Line under the Recovery and Resilience Plan

 ECOPLAST FIBER JSC has taken an important step toward more sustainable production by signing Contract No. BG-RRP-3.008-0411-C01 under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The company is investing in a new granulation line that will enable efficient recycling of plastic waste generated during the production of polyester staple fibers.

Modern Equipment for Efficient Processing

The production line includes a compactor, cylindrical filter, pelletizing machine, transfer fan, big-bag filling station, as well as shredding, crushing and cutting machines. Working as an integrated system, they allow for sorting, shredding and granulating the plastic waste with high levels of filtration and improved characteristics of the final material.

Benefits for Production and the Environment

The recycled granulate will be reintroduced into the production process, leading to:

  • reduced industrial waste;
  • lower production costs;
  • decreased use of primary raw materials;
  • reduced environmental footprint.

Sustainable Development and Modernization

With this investment, ECOPLAST FIBER reinforces its commitment to modernization, circular economy practices and cleaner production, while also enhancing its competitiveness on the market.
